What is Untangled Productions?

Untangled Productions is a media production crew set comprising of six Bournemouth University students studying BA Television Production. We plan to create a variety of short films, documentaries, music videos and more that will hopefully get our name out there and help broaden our skill set. We hope to meet many new people and become a much greater part of the media industry.

Billy Askew

Hello there, my name is Billy Askew and I love all things media. I enjoy Snowboarding in the mountains, crawling through the wilderness and diving in the ocean. Adventure is my middle name (James actually) but I do love this world’s beauty and my dream is to capture its aesthetic delights in and outside of the frame. Direction, camera work and perspective interest me the most. This life’s full of so many breathtaking wonders, I want to hear it all and see it all. The camera is just my second pair of eyes.

Callum Thorne

Hi, my name’s Callum Thorne and since a young age I have always expressed a creative interest for film and television. My areas of expertise within Untangled Productions lies in managing pre-production, utilizing my organizational skills to produce an artistic medium. Another interest of mine is still photography; I enjoy producing images that an audience can appreciate. I hope we can provide a similar level of satisfaction to future clients.

Scott McGreal

Hello, my name’s Scott Mcgreal and from a young age I have been interested in the media industry and creation of media products. My specialty is as a Director of Photography; I possess advanced technical knowledge and accreditation’s within electronic engineering. I also have a sharp eye for those key images that can truly make a production stand out. In 2011 I was awarded by Pearsons for being the best media student in the UK and still hold this title.

Jonathan Berry

Hi, my name’s Jonathan Berry and my focus in Untangled Productions is post-production. I have a wealth of experience editing, colour grading, compositing, mixing and finishing on a range of industry-standard software. Another passion is directing/writing, as I love telling stories through the visual medium. These stories are vividly brought to life through collaboration with other Untangled members and their range of high-level disciplines. This powerful workflow we can guarantee every client.

Scott Craig

Hey, my name’s Scott Craig and I’ve been in love with visual media for as long as I can remember. Currently studying Television Production at Bournemouth University alongside my fellow team members, it’s been a long-standing dream of mine to make a career in the media industry. I specialise in Camera Operating, but also have a real passion for storytelling and always enjoy directing my own pieces, especially music videos. Outside the world of media, I enjoy football, swimming, skiing and love to travel.
